Nowadays, it is a fact that a huge amount of money is spent on space exploration. I reckon that it is excessive.
First of all, even though humans are curious creatures, there are meny fields of science where we can investigate, apart from space exploration. For instance, it is much more necessary to discover creatures for mortal illnesses, such as cáncer.
Furthermore, despite the fact that it is really interesting to know more about other planets, the first one we have to invest on is the Earth. It would be more productive spending money on renewable energy sources in order to create less pollution. To sum up, less money should be spent on space exploration, in favor of other fields of science.
